You’re a newly married couple navigating the waters of starting a life together.
You’ve completed MLC’s Premarital Counseling program and could use a check-in.
You’re a couple looking for other newlyweds to connect with.
We’re so excited to introduce and welcome all past premarital couples to our newest group, After “I Do”. Led by Kayla Sammons, one of our fantastic LMFT Associates, After “I Do” will give newlywed couples who have completed our premarital program a safe space for conversation, support, and understanding from couples navigating the same waters of relationship.
Let’s be honest - not all of your friends will be in the same life stage at the same time.
Meeting like-minded couples in the same phase of relationship as you can be tricky.
Throw in a desire to connect with people who understand the tough topics and conversations that come about during this season, and who will support you through it all, well… you get what we’re saying!
What is the group like?
Couples will enjoy social time with complimentary refreshments. There will be opportunities to get to know other couples who are in a similar phase as you! Don’t worry, it’s not speed dating.
Your facilitator Kayla will shift the group into a relaxed and intentional conversation around relevant topics for the group to participate in. Some topics will include:
Setting boundaries with family & navigating the in-law relationship
Family planning
Finances
Growing in communication
Continuing to date!
The group will get together the first Wednesday of the month at our MLC office in Dallas from 6-7:30pm.
RSVPs are required to ensure space accommodations.
Upcoming dates for After “I Do”:
June 5th: Boundaries & In-Laws
